Old Immanuel is a very small cemetery located in a very rural spot several miles outside of Albany, Minnesota. There are only 69 graves there, the oldest of which is from 1877. Apparently there are records for this church on microfilm at the Stearns History Museum, in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
I took only two pictures here, and I selected this particular stone because of the hand-scratched dates. About 99% of the stones you’re ever going to see were done professionally, but once in a while you come across one that was done out of love by hand. This stone is a hybrid.
